New stage monitor crashing?	Can't Post

Anyone else encountered this:

When using izzy 1.2.9.13, if I show stages and have the new stage monitor/preview actor in my control panel, it crashes straight away.

Only way around this is to show stages and then create a stage preview/monitor after I have full screened in another window... A little strange! Crazy

Yes, please if this is happening I want to receive reports. I'm doing some crazy OpenGL stuff to make this happen... and so it is probably sensitive to different graphics cards, etc.

Me too!
If I have the Stage On, and then I put a Preview, it's ok.
But if I do Ctrl+G (Stage off), and then Ctrl+G again (Stage on), the app crashes and disppears.

It's working fine for me now... Only done a little test but the patch in question was crashing everytime it was opened... and it's not now. Good job Mark Wink

I seem to be getting this behaviour at the moment in Isadora core 1.2.9.22 with Mac 10.5.8

Sorry to say but I just crashed my 1.2.9.22 version using the stage monitor. Unsure

This is the first time in aaaaaaaaaaaages it has happened again and am hoping it was just a fluke.

Some random questions/thoughts for other users:

1)Have you tried pausing the Isadora Engine, then adding the stage preview, then re-running Isadora? I found this used to work back when it happened with the older versions.

2)Does it matter about the size of the window? I found 8/10 that if the window matched the scale of the video (ie the stage preview had no black boarders around it) then it behaved better, therefore not crashing.

3)Did it make any difference if you have the stages active (ie showing) when creating the stage monitor, or did you have it/them not active, ie: before pressing Apple + G or WIndows + G?

Are you using Mac OS 10.6? If so, is that change recent, and could it coincide with the crash of the Stage Preview?

If it happens again, a snippet of the crash report as described in the link below would be very helpful.

Nope, still on 10.5.8. Exactly the same as it was when I was having the older problems.

If it does it again I will complete a crash report right away.

Greetings all-

I've been having problems adding the Stage Preview actor as well... when I try to add one to my CP Izzy doesn't crash, but it freezes up. I'm running OS 10.6.2 on a new Mac Mini.
