Serial commands on PowerPC and Intel Mac's

All my serial commands I made on a MacBook Pro for our Beamer and canon communication cameras, don't work on computers with PowerPC processors. The commands are all reset to 00. If I open the same file on a Intel Mac again, every thing is OK.
The same happens the other way, serial commands made on a PowerPC Mac don't work on a Intel Mac.
