windows version seems to suffer from serious slowdown..

is anyone else having these problems on pc?
1:.
isadora patches running on windows have some slowdown:
everytime the visibility of a movieplayer is turned on/off there's a lag, black glicth, the computer sems to hang some miliseconds.
this doesn't happen running the same patch on mac 1.2.5 .
2:.
everytime i open a menu item (e.g file, edit, scenes...) from the menu bar i get an increase of aprox.5 frames!
those fps would b incredible without having to open a menu item...
