1ère solution, motor controlled by dmx or midi Can't Post

I don't really know where to post it, so I post it here. It's kind of publicity but i think it can interess some of you.
For Heiner Goebbels Stifter's Dinge (next week in Zurich and then in Avignon) a friend in Vidy develop an incredibly precise and cool system to manage motors via dmx or midi. Actually each motor has an ethernet card with an IP adress, so basic operations can be made with any computer and a web browser and then you have a convertor to manage the motor via dmx or midi. For example, in this show we manage moving bridges or curtains with simple cues on the lighting desk or homemade music instruments with a mac book running logic and a midi interface (and also some max/msp). So basically you can control your motor with anything that can manage dmx or midi. Actually the guy who did the programming for some instrument has hesistated between isadora or max/msp…
So if you're intersted take a look at the site, it's in french but the docs exist in english
