MIDI Problem Can't Post

My apologies for the double post, but I'm hoping someone has run into this problem and can shed some light for me. This is urgent (as always) -

I have Isadora controlling a Yamaha DM1000 digital soundboard.

I'm using a M-Audio UNO USB to MIDI adapter to send Program Changes to the sound console to make scene changes and change input fader levels.

After programming all of the Send Program Change actors into the patch, I restarted the program and I am getting these error codes ---

Condition: !(inPortIndex1 >= 1 && inPortIndex1 <= kMaxOSXMidiDevices)
File: CMidiOSX.cp
Line # 926

Condition: !(inPortIndex1 >= 1 && inPortIndex1 <= GetInputPortCount())
File: CMidi.cp
Line # 274

Can anyone point me in the direction of what I need to change in my programming to fix this issue?

The showrun file still operates once I hit QUIET, however, I want to remove this error for peace of mind.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: [william] MIDI Problem [In reply to] Can't Post

Dear William,

It means you are sending to a port that doesn't exist; but this shouldn't be possible. But I now realize that I allow up to 16 midi ports; but actually only six are possible. Oops! :-(

The big question: why does it work at all? I'll have to look into that.

Anyway... the MIDI port equates to the ports show in the MIDI setup. For now, you should only be using 1-6.

Let me know if this solves the problem.

Best,
Mark

Thanks, Mark. I'll troubleshoot this further and let you know if I can make the error message go away. As I said, the program change MIDI sends are working just fine, I only just get an error upon loading the showrun scene.
