serial data to planar pr5020 projector Can't Post

Hi there again.
For a show here in Vidy, I'll use a planar pr5020 that have a rs232 port, which is great because I need to control it (power on, power off, nothing more). I already use sucessfully the send serial actor with infocus or eiki beamer and had not real problem with it.
But with the planar, nothing happen. I spend most of my day trying to get it work…
I will ask the guys at planar, but I post it here, in case anyone has a clue if I'm doing something wrong.
The manual is pretty clear, I think. They ask for a 9600 rate, no parity check or flow control and 8 data bit.
So for a power on command it's ~ P N CR in ascii (CR beeing the carriage return)
or : 7E 50 4E 0D in Hex (it's cool there is the translation, because you have no doubt about capital or not)

And i try with both ways in nothing works.

for ascii the correct way, for me, to type it in the send serial actor is : "~PN\r"
and in hex, it's what it is : 7E 50 4E 0D

I tried other command, look in all the projector's menu to see if there was some option to activate but so far, nothing. If anyone has a clue, welcome.
