vj midi control	Can't Post

i'm using a behringer dj controller to control izzy fpr a vj setup,

and i'm hurting my head trying to get the pitch sliders to control the speed in a logical fashion. its a 0-127 value on the chanel and i want the middle to = 1 on the speed of the video player.

there is probably an easy way to do this but i'm not see it :P

an i just started the patch last night
so it doesn't look like much yet but i'll post updates

The output of the MIDI value has limits of 0-127. If you click on the 'speed' input of the Movie Player, and set the 'scale min' to 0 and the 'scale max' to 2, you'll get the results you'd like.

It's a good idea to read the section of the manual called "Scaling Values Between Outputs and Inputs" and to do tutorial 8 to understand how Isadora scales values.
