CI Motion Blur problem ? Can't Post

Hi people, Mark.
I really want to know why many of the CI actor seems to work not as I expected.
For ex.: when I used a CI Movie Player + CI Motion Blur + CI Projector my original image is resized (down) and place it in the middle of the stage...
and the Fx doesn't seems to work in the frames of my file but on the stage.
I attached a jpeg with it. Maybe someone can tell me what's going on.

Another issue:
Why I can't mix CI actors and non CI actors ?

tks

When you process images with the CI actors, some of them can change the dimensions to "infitite" -- you can tell if this is happening by pointing at one of the wires carrying video and looking at the thumbnail. If the size at the bottom says INF,INF then it is infinite.

To solve this, you need to use the CI Crop actor and set the size to your desired resolution.

Try adding the CI Crop just before the projector and set it to 640 x 480 or something like that. See if that does the trick.

Best,
Mark

Re: [Mark Coniglio] CI Motion Blur problem ? [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Mark,
yes the movie is in "infitite" mode
so I used a ci crop actor like y sad and works but I had to pay attention to don't distort the image.

so in the ci crop actor I used this parameter to a 320 x 240 movie:
0
0
319
240

But the result still a little be frustrating because it works like ci gaussian blur and not like the old motion blur or other time fx as I supposed

Tks anyway for y time and attention

Isadora's Motion Blur has no relationship to CI's Motion Blur. You can convert the CI Image to a video stream, use Motion Blur, and then convert it back to the Video to Image and Image to Video actors.

Try that and see how it works.

Best,
Mark
