Convert an Isadora patch to IsadoraCore Can't Post

Hi everybody, i built an heavy patch on izz 1.2.9 running on a 2 X 3 GHZ dual-core with 4 GO Ram.
On some scenes I'm around 8 fps even on half-size.

So, I tried to translate my patch on IsadoraCore but, how can I mix CI actors with the others ?
When I use a CI Video inwatcher in a Panspinzoom, for exemple, I have no image...
Is it a proble of Pete's plug-in ?

Thanks for any answer

Hmm, some weird behaviour here.

There is an "Image to Video" actor that converts the output of CI actors (like the video in) to normal non-core actors, and this works for me with

  • CI video in - image to video - pan spin zoom - projector
Unless I set the "Image to video" to the exact resolution of the input source (320 x 240), when the image is skewed and jagged. If I set it to 320 x 241, or change either width or height by even 1 it works fine! Also, floating the cursor over the "Image to video" actor output pops up a clean image, and only the one out of the "panspinzoom" is skewed...

Pourquoi?

Thank's for this quick answer,
I already used the image to video actor and I had another problem of different hue.
If I use a movie player and a Projector it's OK
If I use a CImovie player and a CI Projector it's OK
If I use a CImovie player an image to video actor and blabla actors and a Projector, I have a color-problem...

Hello,

I just tried to mix CI and not CI actors and I abandoned that for the moment, CI picture player not working, YUV/RGB problems, colors problem und so weiter… I take that as "beta" for the moment. If you need a speed increase for simple patchs, that's work, but not for complicated one.

Hope thats help

Are you running on a PowerPC or Intel Mac?

Are you using v1.2.9?

Best,
Mark

hi Mark,
I'm running on Intel Mac;
I should say I was running on Intel because the material was bought for a creation and it will tour without me.

I had a good feeling on Isadora.

I've been able to learn and developp my tools in a year wich wasn't possible I think on Jitter?
Congratulation for this developpment

I hope your installation in Berlin is going well.
