Crash when applying texture to 3d object Can't Post

Whenever I drag a connection from a movie player's video output (video or still image) to the texture input of a 3d player, Isadora crashes immediately.

The objects are imported .3ds objects (with no texture of their own), but I've tried pretty simple ones. I've tried various lo-res videos and still images as the textures.

Anyone have any insight into this?

I'm using Isadora 1.2 on a Mac G5. I'm attaching the crash report from Console.

Thanks,
Dan

There are several fixes to the 3D Player coming in the next version... but to wrap a texture around an object in Isadora, you _must_ have a texture assigned to the object in the first place.

Texture mapping requires the texture coordinates to be embedded in the object -- it is impossible for Isadora to generate these. If you export without any textures, you can't apply a texture in Isadora.

Best Wishes,

Thanks Mark, that's likely the problem.
