Interactive data access Can't Post

I am working on an idea that I need some help with. I would like to be able to randomly access a list of names so that they appear as text on the screen, either as individual or multiples, and I would also like to be able to let people add to this list so that the names they input appear randomly, basically so that the names are added to the database that is being accessed. Any thoughts? I will then work on the graphic presentation after the module that is accessing and outputting the database.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is a new area for me.

Re: [dodioflo] Interactive data access [In reply to] Can't Post

I am doing the same kind of work with a poet, randomly generated poetry, readed on screens by actors. Unfortunately Isadora is not able to do that, only a very basic text management. For my project I used Macromedi Director (now Adobe Director), but is feasible with flash or with processing. They can manage text, use a database (record and read). With Director, that's easier to use multiple full screens.

Director is the easiest to program, flash a litle bit more difficult, processing is the most difficult, but is free.

Hope that help
