Is this latest version any better than 7.2 ?
Is it safe to upgrade now ?

Hello,

Can't find QT 7.3.2 where do you see it?

I got an itunes 7.3.2 update but I think it's not what you are talking about.

Ah - I was thinking that Itunes and quicktime were tied together these days.
If I update Itunes to 7.3.2 will that break quicktime as well?

I can't remember, but I think iTunes 7.3 and on requires updating to QuickTime 7.2

I got too much amateur events this weeks... can't take the risk to upgrade to QT 7.2.

I even delayed the try of iWeb 2 and Numbers cos they need QT 7.2

Waiting for a solution.

The solution is coming... Apple has taken this issue very seriously, and has very responsive. They are working on a fix.

I expect to have more news on this very soon.

Did this get resolved?
I have avoided upgrading quicktime / itunes for fear of breaking stuff
Should I continue to do so?

I think you can upgrade iTunes safely, but don't upgrade QT yet if you can avoid it.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed since I need the updated QT for other apps. It'd be nice for Apple to fix their bug. The download soes promise "bug fixes".

I hope Mark has time to check this QT update wrt Isadora soon ...

There has been a workaround available for some weeks now. Apple has not solved the problem, but there is a version of Isadora that works around the problem. Please see http://www.troikatronix.com/qtbug.html. The latest versions are at http://www.troikatronix.com/izzy-updates.html
