rclarke New User May 19, 2008, 9:02 AM Post #1 of 9 (2040 views) Shortcut Random Selection Can't Post Hello I'm creating a piece where each time a trigger is sent a video is played. There a several videos and the selection is random. However, I want to set it up so that if a certain video is just played, it is not selected again immediately after it has just played, instead Isadora always selects a different one on the next trigger. This is the part I'm struggling with in Isadora - how to make sure Isadora doesn't play the same video twice. Can anyone help me? Rachel

Now I'm working on my project where I need to do this. For some reason I cannot open your file attachment, it says it was created on a newer version of the program, but as far as I know, I have the newest version. Could you try and send it again, or send me a screen shot so I can see how you did it? I would really like to see this example! Thanks, Rachel

What would you recommend, the core video/audio version, or the standard version? Unsure of the difference, perhaps the core video version has extra features? Rachel

In addition, you can add Quartz Composer (.qtz) patches as modules in Isadora as well. The Core Audio version is similar, giving you access to all the Audio Unit plugins on your Mac as Isadora actors.
