We just got a copy of this new book from MicroCinema International and recommend it to all aspriing vj's, video designers, and general video enthusiasts.
It has some great illustrations showing gear setups used by some successful VJ's and it has a DVD of work samples from each artists featured in the book. At $40 it's not cheap, but I think it's a valuable reference, providing a glimpse at the setups people are using.
