Hi Jerome - I ran into a similar problem this past summer with a very similar setup. I did not find a solution because I did not have time to solve it. However, I have a few suggestions that may help. My understanding is that the problem exists with the MacPro's inability to reorder displays. Ideally, you should be able to install all 7 monitors and assign the first 6 displays as your projectors, and the 7th as your computer display. However, no one at Apple's technical support could tell me how to reorder the displays. You can very easily rearrange the layout in the Arrangement tab of your display preferences, but you cannot renumber them. If you have displays shown on your menu bar, you will see the displays are actually numbered 1 through 7. It seems the numbering is arbitrary, and it reordered each time you add a new monitor. I believe the Mac OS has a built in display memory, so it will recall what you have plugged in and attempt to revert to these settings. In an attempt to force monitor order, I suggest setting up the MacPro with all 6 projectors and no monitor and arranging everything as you want it. This way, you can initialize your screens to stages in Isadora. It might be difficult, unless you can set up a projector in such a way so as to use it as a monitor while you do this. Once this is all set, try adding the 7th monitor in a "hot-swap" ie plugging it in while the machine is running and everything is already initialized. With any luck, the MacPro will place this monitor 7th, and Isadora will not recognize it. It's worth trying this a few times, and attempting to trick the machine. However, there is only a slim chance this will work. Another option is to use a Dual-Head 2-Go to double up on one of the video outputs and reduce your number of stages to 5. And, of course, you could try to get Apple on the phone and have them explain to you how to reorder the displays. There must be a way to do this in Terminal, though I have not done it myself. There is a program called MacPilot which allows a simple interface with Terminal to change settings, but I don't believe it has any impact on the display settings. I hope this helps in some form or fashion... If I come across a way to reorder the display numbering anytime soon, I will post the information.
