hey all,
this a repeated problem i've had and i bet the answers simple -

a scene wants to start sending video of a still image (jpeg, psd, etc) to the projector... when the picture player actor is left with a certain value, say 3, and the scene is left (deactivated) and re-entered, the video of that picture is empty until the value 3 is cleared and re-entered into the picture player actor...

my workaround has always been a 0 value on the enter scene followed by a short delay triggering the value 3 -
but this requires more script for the computer and also a delay in my getting desired effect. on larger projects this proves to be problematic.

same issue with the background color actor -

ideas?

Have you tried setting the Init value?
this will Initialize the picture player to the value you specify when it's activated.

Like wise, it might be worth checking the Init value is turned off, as if it's turned on with the Default 0 value, then this would remove what ever you had entered when you re-enter the scene

Are you saying that, if the picture is 3, and you leave and return the the scene, you don't see any video? I've never seen that.

What version are you using?
