Just had this same problem, since Apple isn't manufacturing DVI to RCA/S-Vide adapters for their standard nVidia cards (yet). For basic scan conversion, I recommend using a simple external device, such as the AV Toolbox AVT-3150 Scan Converter, Mac & PC (HD-15) Input, Composite (RCA) and Y/C (S-Video) Video Output, NTSC rather than swapping out the card entirely. You will still need to use an Apple DVI to VGA adapter, but then it plugs straight into this scan converter from there. It's a $90USD solution to the problem, and there are other more expensive options out there. B&H sells it and ships quick - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/322041-REG/AV_Toolbox_AVT_3150_AVT_3150_Scan_Converter.html NOTE: this device uses an odd VGA coupling to handle an in and out from the same cable. don't be confused, just plug it in to the box and the male end into the computer. you get rca or s-video composite signal out.
