eskatonia Novice Jun 15, 2007, 9:45 AM Post #1 of 10 (1082 views) Shortcut video to image actor? and monitoring Ci Images Can't Post I can't get the video to image actor to work at all, not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I tried using two normal movie players, feed them into a video mixer then feed that to a "video to image" actor and a CI Projector. output is just black... also there is no way to set the stage if you use this, as neither video to image actor or CI Projector has stage inputs. should this work? also, seems impossible to have any preview screens of a CI Image node without going back to video using "image to video" actor which will have a major performance hit. any plans to make a "CI Monitor" control which lets us play CI images as previews without reading back to RAM?

It look to me like the "video to image" actor and the "ci picture player" need to have stage inputs to work at all. is this a bug?

For exemple the old motion blur actor works fine but the new CI motion blur doesn't and if y try to use a CI movie player + old motion blur + ci projetor = black image Yes, I'd like to hear Mark about that

I was pushing so hard to get 1.2.7 I may have left this actor in when I shouldn't have. I'll check all this out in any case.
