chato New User May 12, 2008, 4:44 PM Post #1 of 4 (622 views) Shortcut windows XP crash and Vista enquire Can't Post Hello all, I am working with some people who bought a new laptop to work with Isadora, but we are running into problems and I have little access to the computer so I have difficulties in finding exactly the problem. Here I try to explain the problem in case someone can point me towards some kind of answer... : The laptop originally came with Windows Vista and I managed to have the seller install XP. But we have problems with Isadora: whenever the mouse hovers over an actor's outlet or inlet, and Isadora intends to show the thumbnail image, it crashes. I have the feeling that the problem lies in the fact that the drivers for the video card are not correct (or maybe not available) but I am not sure. So the question that comes after that is: when can we expect to have a Windows Vista ready Isadora ? I saw an earlier mail dated from late march that was anouncing it very soon, and I wanted to know whether it is better to try and solve the problem on XP or put the computer back to Vista and install Isadora for Vista. We will update to the new version and let you know. And sorry to insist, but do you think there will be a Vista version ? It looks like Vista is not very well received by software developers in general and this is why I ask... Cheers
