G5 AGP + PCI Graphics performance issues Can't Post

Hi there
For a show that uses four projectors to make a roughly 100 ft wide and 10 ft high panorama I will have to use a dual 1.8 Ghz G5 with AGP Graphic card slot. It has a Geforce 5200 in the AGP slot and two ATI Radeon 9200 Mac Edition cards installed in two of the PCI slots.
I am trying to play a single Quicktime movie 1920x192 pixels in size and encoded in Photo JPEG that I split on the four screens using a User Actor with four 3D projectors. I have already managed to run this quite well in my studio on a Mac Pro and I was hpoing to get the video to play at least around 15fps, but currently its framerate seems to be closer to 3,5fps.
We have tried to run it with the two ATI cards only but even then the playback doesn't exceed the 9fps.

The testfile I had sent to the theater to test the G5 can be found here:

Thanks for any help or suggestions

hi. i don't think the pci route will give you anything good. I've ran a radon 9200 pci + r9800 agp in a 2.0g5 with 4 screens. the outputs off the AGP card were ok but nothing was smooth with the on the PCI card. a better PCI card might perform better; i've heard of geforce 5200 and 6200 PCI but for PC's. if they they might perform better. another thing to suggest getting a matrox triplehead2go to use with the AGP card and drop PCI altogether. it will split one video output into 3. also 2x dualhead2go might work as well. at the same time at that resolution I'm afraid the entire system is pushed to limits....
