HD live inputs and outputs...	Can't Post

Has anyone seen the BlackMagic HD capture card... claims to get HD video into quicktime for about $300?

Can isadora handle this kind of thing? for say an isadora setup with several SD type inputs and one/two HD inputs?

Am i right in thinking that Isadora processes video at the resolution of the highest clip in the node tree behind it, so if you only mixed HD in at the end, processing would be reduced?

Any guesses what kind of processors / ram would be required for this?

I have not myself seen Isadora ever capture HD. But perhaps the Blackmagic makes it possible... I'd like to hear about this if it is true.

Isadora will however output HD no problem... assuming you have a computer that is fast and a fast disk drive. I have recently done some tests with a Quad Intel box (Mac) and it works well.
