Slow Loading	Can't Post

I just imported 50 or so movies into my media window.
Now the patch takes about 4 minutes to load.
I was wondering why this is? Does Izzy do anything other than loading the file path of all media in the window?

The movies are encoded with Mpeg-1, Opened in Quicktime & saved as mov's....

So I'm guessing that's why it takes so long to load them? But wondering why.

I'm using the PC verison by the way,

I could be wrong about this, but on a mac there is a preference setting that allows you to change how Issy loads thumbnails.

To quote mark from an old post

"If you go to the General Preferences and tick the box that says "Save With Files" checkbox for the thumbnails, it will generate the thumbnails each time. This will cause your files to load much more quickly.
