real time painting? Can't Post

Is this possible? I want to use my wacom (and hopefully my Wii controls through Junxion) to paint in real time. Like a photoshop brush, but in real time as I write on the tablet.

Is this possible with decent performance?

I'm on a Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz, 2 gigs.

any help in the right direction or the right nodes to look at would be great help. Thanks.

I've seen somebody do this using Flash, but not through Isadora. He set up his projector as a second monitor arranged below his main desktop, then stretched a document with a black background to fill the entire second screen.

I found this, which is pretty interesting, but it's a standalone program with no real interface except a point and pressure.

I was rethinking, instead of drawing a curve, maybe a simple frame buffer that adds frames to itself would be a simple dirty way to do this. i'm new to isadora, so i'm still learning what nodes are in there, but would this be a better way than tracking and drawing? simple adding and motion blurring? Thanks.

I had this in mind a long ago, saw your post a few weeks and finally had time to quickly put this together.

Awesome. Thanks for the sample file. I haven't had time to do much with isadora lately (trying to learn max/msp at the same time and a full time job), this will help me learn isadora a bit too.

I like it.... I would not of thought of using the mouse trigger as the bypass for the shape/line actor. Nice job.
