You are invited to attend our free one-hour informal lecture-demo at the Shadbolt Theatre in Burnaby, next Tuesday at 2pm.

WAVELITE is the research phase of a new performance project called WAVE AND SPARK. It follows on from our research last summer at the Shadbolt, which was called VIDEMOTE. www.youtube.com/primaldivine (click on VIDEMOTE clip)
The 'VIDEMOTE' is now the name we use to refer specifically to our moving video-spotlight that we built at that time, and that we have now refined for use in WAVE AND SPARK. The projection beam can be moved to any position on the stage floor or cyclorama controlled by the software user, or by a performer onstage using their voice or body movements.
New research focuses on refinement of the auto-keystoning of the Videmote, 3D projection techniques, Wii control of interactive software and projection into shallow water.
Rob Scharein joins the research team, with his KnotPlot mathematical vizualization software.
Musicians have been invited to play with the sound response performance aspects of the software.
Jacob Cino joins us again as a movement and vocal artist for testing the interactive triggers.
