Choosing frame to display in Bin Picker Can't Post

This may be obvious for many Izzy users, but was not to me, so I'm passing on this bit of info:

The penny finally dropped for me on how to choose what frame of a clip is displayed in the "Bin Picker" control. We'd been frustrated in visually identifying clips which start with black or very dark frames. When working on our web site, I finally discovered the "Set Poster Frame" item in Quicktime. So...

Open the clip in Quicktime.
Go to the frame you want displayed in the Bin Picker.
Choose "Set Poster Frame" under the "View" menu.
Save the clip.

When you open your patch in Isadora, that "poster frame" will be displayed in the Bin Picker rather than the first frame of the clip. (also in the finder info window, a media window on a web page, etc.)

Thanks for that reminder; I of coursed knew this, but I don't think it's in the manual anywhere. Will make a note to add it.

Best,
Mark
