Re: [livpas] live drawing [In reply to] Can't Post

hi- thanks for your posting.
iīve tried to open your attached file: i get an error-message that the file could not be opened cause itīs saved with a newer version of isadora.
i have the last version -v1.2- as a demo to try out IF I ever get my wacom implemented somewhere...
is the DEMO-version the problem?

thanks, keesa

Hey, I downloaded you're patch to see how you did it and then two days later a performer asked me if I could create a 'thing' (as she put it hehe) so when she danced she painted a picture like in microsoft paint. So ive used you're patch with Midi coming in from a motion tracking system with MIdi X & Y, re-edited you're patch and it works great! Just wanted to tell you and say thanks! I will take a picture or short film and let you guys see it in action its amazing! Thank you! Wink

Re: [livpas] live drawing [In reply to] Can't Post

hello livpas
I played with some live wacom drawing in a show, but faked it with photoshop layers and reveals. I am interested to see your sample patch, but I think you took the link away?
Is it possible for you to post your file again? From the replies it looks like you are using the mouse instead of the wacom?
thanks
jamie

Thanks, I used the effect in a show. you can see a sample here. it's a a bit different than a drawing effect. I used motion tracking rather than mouse parameters.

Thats cool. I did something very very similar using motion tracking an Isadora. I will have to find the pics and videos!

Hello,

I like to share a drawing patch iImade with the 3d particle actor. I was looking for a less dashed paint trail and a more organic form. Only I didn't managed to connect it to a mouse stage watcher

To make the drawing a bit less dashed, I took the draw patch from livpass and just added a "GaussianBlur" and a "Glow" actor.

I worked on a particle based painter tool. I think it works faster then the one with the shape actor. The only thing with both of them is that you won't get rid of the dashed line.

all the best

I copied this idea of using laser to draw from graffiti research lab. chroma key the laser then use eye actor then use the center offset horizontal and vertical outputs to move shape actor then motion blur with 100 acum amount
