Super-precise, ultra-fast mapping Can't Post

I once managed to map a projection onto a simple pyramid-like object, using one Isadora's actor. But the above mapping may call for a whole user's actor. Any ideas?

The great thing about the vvvv patch presented in this video http://vimeo.com/10780497 is that it has the functionality of creating a mask right over the video frame. There is another patch in max msp that also allows this. It would be a great addition to the functionality of Isadora. http://hcgilje.wordpress.com/...eo-projection-tools/

In a similar vein here is some scintillating projection mapping:

I think one can set a mask "over the video frame" in Isadora, using two projector actors, which operate on different layers. What seems to be lacking in Isadora is the ability to precisely modify this mask.

Thanks for the link to VPT.

Funny enough I downloaded VPT last week.

A little tricky to get going I thought. I guess I need to spend a bit of time with it.

I would love to be able to quickly map something like in the video above.

I am playing with 3d structured light. It should be able in principle to give you a 3d model of an environment, almost in real time. Which can then be used for mapping. Requires a considerable amount of work to get there, though.
