[OT] Troika Ranch Performances/MySpace/YouTube

Hi All,
I wanted to invite all of you to have a look at the new MySpace page for Troika Ranch at http://myspace.com/troikaranch We are have just begun work on our new performance work, currently titled "Loop Diver", which will have preview performances in September in New York City. We're adding video clips and pictures as we develop the piece, as well as using the blog feature to create an online journal about our process of making this new, evening length work. Of course, if you have a MySpace account, we would appreciate you becoming our friend.
In addition, we've uploaded a couple of video's to our new YouTube channel at http://youtube.com/troikaranch One is a prototype for a dance film we will create in earnest next year, which uses an algorithmic editing technique I've developed.
The other is a video that is part of the process of making "Loop Diver". We are using a special Isadora module (sorry, not released to the public yet) that allow myself, my collaborator Dawn Stoppiello, and the dancers, to create very complicated looping structures on pre-recorded video clips. So the process goes like this: improvise & record some movement, create the looping structure, and then learn to dance the resulting video. This process resulting in some incredibly interesting movement sequences, especially when the dancers attempt to do some of the more impossible movements that the videos present to themselves.
In any case, I hope some of you might find our process and the things we're making of interest. So please do have a look.
