Creating Interactive Artworks with Isadora
Studio 103 / Kreuzberg, Berlin
March 3-5, 12:00 to 17:00 each day
Cost: €120 per person
The three-day workshop will focus on creating interactive performance, installation and VJ sets using Isadora, (http://www.troikatronix.com/isadora.html) a real-time media manipulation tool that has become the software of choice for hundreds of artists worldwide.
Taught by Mark Coniglio (creator of Isadora and Artistic Co-Director of multimedia performance group Troika Ranch http://www.troikaranch.org), the participants will learn to use Isadora's flexible building blocks to present and manipulate video and sound in real-time. Coniglio will then build upon this knowledge by showing how external sensory systems can allow performers or viewers to interactively control the media with gestures or vocalizations.
